On June 18, 2024, the Irish American Bar Association of New York, led by President Darren T. Moore, celebrated Bloomsday at NYU's Glucksman Ireland House. It was IABANY's first event back at Glucksman House since the pandemic.
Members of the Irish and Irish-American legal and cultural communities attended, including a number of judges, for an evening of food, cocktails and conversation.
The guest speaker was NYU School of Law Professor Stephen Gillers, a national expert on the American legal profession. He gave a talk drawn from his law review article on the litigation over James Joyce's Ulysses.
