Darren T. Moore has been named to the 2024 Irish Legal 100, an annual list founded in 2008 by the Irish Voice newspaper that recognizes accomplished lawyers, judges and legal scholars of Irish heritage across the United States.
On October 17, 2024, the 2024 Irish Legal 100 honorees were celebrated at a reception at the residence of the Ambassador of Ireland in Washington, D.C. The annual list recognizes the most distinguished Irish and Irish-American legal professionals from across the United States.
The evening was hosted by Geraldine Byrne Nason, Ambassador of Ireland to the United States, and brought together honorees and distinguished guests from across the country, including U.S. Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett and the Attorney General of Ireland, Rossa Fanning SC. It was a wonderfully hosted night and a fitting celebration of the year's honorees.
"This is a huge honor for me, my family and my firm, and I'm delighted to be here as President of the Irish American Bar Association of New York," said Darren. "To come to Washington, visit the Ambassador's residence and be in the company of the Ambassador, a Supreme Court Justice, the Attorney General of Ireland and Irish-American legal honorees from across the country is something I won't forget."
"As President of the Irish American Bar Association, my goal is to grow the organization and to represent it to the best of my ability," he added. "To be honored in Washington alongside such distinguished guests and honorees is very humbling. It also shows that the work being done on behalf of the organization, the profession and myself personally is always moving forward."
