Darren T. Moore has completed his term as President of the Irish American Bar Association of New York (IABANY), stepping down in March 2026 after leading the association from February 2024.
IABANY has brought together Irish and Irish-American lawyers in New York since 1987, with a particular focus on younger lawyers who have just arrived from Ireland or just finished law school. During Darren's term the association added networking events, held its Wine Geese Awards at the Consulate General of Ireland on Park Avenue, and teamed up with the Brehon Law Society of New York on community service.
In a March 2025 IrishCentral feature, produced in partnership with the firm, Darren said the aim was to create more opportunities for young Irish graduates and connect them with experienced lawyers and firms here. He remains an active member.
