The Irish American Bar Association of New York held its 2025 Wine Geese Awards on May 7 at the Consulate General of Ireland on Park Avenue, with Darren T. Moore hosting as President.
The event takes its name from the "Wine Geese," Irish emigrant families who built wine businesses in their adopted countries from the 17th century on. Alongside its Wild Goose Awards, it honors members of the legal community for what they do outside the law. This year's honorees were the Hon. Kathaleen St. J. McCormick, Chancellor of the Delaware Court of Chancery, and Casey Ryan, Global Managing Partner of Reed Smith LLP.
